Well, I am out for my NCAA picks thanks to Duke loosing =( Oh well, may the best team win.

I went to the CSOPP orientation last Friday and now am a little stressed yet again.  They said I would receive information about a week or so after I heard I got accepted (March 1st) and I received the information a few days ago and now their scholarship stuff is due in a few days and I am now stressed I won't get it completed.  And not to be rude but they did wait a long time to get it out.  We shall see.  I am just nervous.

I went and looked at apartments today, well one open house and just drove around some of the areas.  It's amazing that I was born and raised and still live in the Chicago land area but hardly paid attention to how many apartments/condos there are!  I found one that I liked the location of and the building itself, but haven't had a chance to see inside yet.  I'll start looking when I officially move back here from Iowa in a few weeks and start my job =) I am excited.  So far things are falling into place so hopefully it all works out.  I can't beat finding out I got into my graduate program and getting a job in the same week, right?

So far I am doing decent with my NCAA picks...but there have been some disappointments which sucks.
I am heading to my aunts wedding tomorrow morning and then back home for a week.  I have orientation for the Chicago School next Fri. and since I have to start looking for a new apartment I decided to head back earlier.
I can't believe after living in Iowa for 6 years I am moving back to Chicago.  Granted 4 years were spent in school, I am going go miss it here.  I like how low key it is around here.  Chicago is to busy, BUT it does have perks like being by my family etc.  I will however have to leave my kitten in Iowa for a few months until Travis comes to Chicago.  I am not looking forward to that =(

Well, had another seizure the other night, my 5th, and this is really starting to get to me.  I like being in control of things and obviously in the middle of the night when they occur I am not in control and I don't like that.  And after they happen Travis and I are so tired because we were both up all night.  It takes me a good hour and a half to come out of it, meaning I stop the actual seizure but I am completely out of it.
My neurologist said to continue with the medications I am on, which I do like, but they aren't controling my episodes.  I see him in April so I am happy about that.
It's been raining the last few days on and off so it's been dreary.  Carrie (Travis's sister) moved into her house last Friday so we went and helped them paint, it was fun.  I am not the greatest painter but I did better then I thought and it was fun spending time with them.  I come from such a small family and their family is big so it took some getting used to but they are such great people.
Anyways, my aunt gets married on Friday and I am catching a ride home with my parents/brother so I'll be home next week for CSOPP orientation.  I am nervous but excited at the same time.  We shall see how things go =).  My parents said the house will be finished hopefully by the end of the month so I am extremely excited to see how it looks.  I have seen some pictures of things but not finished.  The kitchen though looks amazing.
I should eat something now, I worked out this morning and haven't had anything but cereal.

So I thought looking at apartments online in Chicago would be fun, it's driving me nuts haha.  Some of the sites are odd and don't open or they don't give you great details.  I can't wait to go home soon and have my Mom take me to areas.  I know a lot of areas around Chicago, but not apartments to well.  It's amazing how much the price goes up though around a big city, obviously I knew that would happen, I have been watching my brother rent for years while in college and now he owns a condo by Chicago and the price was out of this world.  But after paying so little in Iowa it's going to be hard to pay so much in Chicago =( I told Travis that he's going to hate it and he gets mad at me when I say that, but he was born and raised and still lives in Iowa.  He's used to it here, which isn't bad, but big cities are different.  Traffic, price, amount of people etc.  He'll get used to it or dump me whichever comes first =)
At least now I am excited again!!!!!  I went from being excited to nervous and now I am happy.  Nerves will be coming soon though.
